I started this blog when we started changing the way we eat. Finding out we
needed to be gluten free, actually for me wheat free, was a huge big deal.

The Valley of the Shadow of Death
Is not meant for us to walk through, as much as people say that death is a natural part of life it is not, it is inevitable, but it is alien to our new nature in Christ and an affront and an offense each time we walk through mourning a loved one. Mourning an unborn child is no different than mourning a loved one with whom we have spent much time here on earth, no different other than it is darker and sadder because there are no shared memories, no happy times, no joys or smiles or peals of laughter to remember. Thank you to everyone who is praying for us, encouraging us, and helping us through this walk through deaths shadow. Mark chose to name this baby Helena, after the mother of Constantine who connected historical sites and scripture and is celebrated on Holy Cross day, the day on which it became evident that our Helena had entered heaven before us and is now one more connection with heaven and one less with this earthly life. Come Lord Jesus, Come quickly, but in the mean time Lord Have Mercy on us and all the broken hearted.
